CAN YOU RECREATE AN OLD FAVOURITE BAG/WALLET?

Yes, if you are able to provide us photos, dimensions and details of your favourite bag we would be happy to create a drawing for you and recreate it using our selection of leathers and linings.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS IN CREATING MY CUSTOM BAG?

The best place to start is with the bag design, once you select a design you can let us know what changes, pockets, dimensions or alterations you would like if any. Then you choose leather, lining, hardware (silver or brass) and where you would like the branding (inside or outside). Once you have decided on all these aspects we will draw up a custom listing for you to check and when your ready you can proceed with the purchase. We will keep the system updated on your order status and ship it as soon as it is ready. What could be easier?

WHAT ASPECTS CAN I CHANGE WITH THE EXISTING DESIGNS?

You can alter dimensions, straps, hardware, pockets, interior pockets etc.  We are able to accommodate lots of alterations with our existing designs. Many customers add features to our bags that they prefer. We are happy to discuss what your ideas.

DO YOU USE OTHER MATERIALS?

We only use premium leather - lambskin, cow or goat leather. We never use faux leather, vegan leather or PVC. Our linings are all cotton and we always prefer natural materials. We source our leathers directly from the tanneries and they are a by-product of the meat industry. All the hides are surplus to the meat industry.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY CUSTOM BAG TO BE READY?

Our normal make time is around 22-28 days but this time can vary. We source our materials when we receive the order so the leather is soft, supple and fresh. Then often we have to make a pattern if there are modifications and we handmade each and every bag.  We know that your custom bag will be worth the wait. 

HOW CAN I CHECK ON MY ORDER?

You can get updates on your order by going to our 'Order Status' page - link below. You will need your order number and email address and you will be provided a real time update to where your order is in the production process.

DO YOU SHIP WORLDWIDE?

Yes, we are happy to ship your bag worldwide. Various shipping rates may apply. DHL is our preferred international carrier.  Please contact us if you need more information on shipping.

CAN I ARRANGE AN EXPRESS DELIVERY?

Yes, we are able to arrange to send your goods via DHL worldwide express for an additional fee. Please email us if you would like to arrange express delivery of your bag. 2-4 days to most locations.

WHICH LEATHER SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Please see our Colour swatch page for more information on the characteristics of the different leathers. We would be more than happy to discuss your needs further and show you some bags made in the leathers that you are considering.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY NEW BAG?

Leather is very resilient, but for it to be kept at it's best it needs moisturising like our skin. We recommend a quality leather balm be applied every 6 months and for cleaning the leather a leather lotion works well.  It is best not to treat nubuck leather with these products, use a suede spray for nubuck leather. 

If your bag is marked with pen, ink or other permanent colour you could try a 'magic eraser' sponge available from supermarkets.

CAN I GET REPLACEMENT STRAPS MADE?

Yes, we can make additional strap for you bag and we can also make you a replacement strap when the existing one has had it's day. Send us a message with your requirements.

CAN ANYONE USE AFTERPAY?

Currently only Australian residents with an Australian bank account can use the Afterpay service.  We are working on also including FuturePay to our site for our US Customers.

HOW DO I BOOK AN IN HOME HANDBAG PARTY?

It's simple, just send us an email with your preferred date and time and we will send you a hostess pack to ensure a successful event.  Currently only available in Melbourne, Victoria on Thursday, Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday daytimes.

CAN I REFUND OR RETURN MY CUSTOM BAG?

When we make a custom bag, we make it from scratch. We have to source all the components that have been selected when they are selected. What this means is that the materials are fresh, quality and are what the customer asked for. It also takes time. The sourcing of materials sometimes causes delays in production, it also means some leather are discontinued from time to time. Because this bag is made specifically for you we can't not accept returns or refunds for it. If the bag is clearly faulty or has been sent with a major defect we will endeavour to replace it. WHOLESALE ENQUIRIES?

We do prefer to focus on dealing directly with customers but we welcome some limited wholesale accounts and are happy to discuss bulk orders, conference work and corporate requirements.
